'MyAccount' is an online service.

We have step-by-step guides to help you navigate our customer portal.  Please click on each image to enlarge. Additionally, there are short videos providing guidance on how to become an Authorised Filer; how to access your account and how to submit an annual report.

  • About 'MyAccount'

    'MyAccount’ is a new Charities Regulator’s online user account where you as a charity trustee can:

    • Manage and update your charity’s records on the Register of Charities, if you are authorised to do so;
    • Submit your Annual Reports to the Charities Regulator;
    • Correspond with us about your organisation;
    • See a history of your dealings with us;
    • Create and manage other users from your organisation (if you are designated as an administrator);
    • Apply to register a new charity.
  • I don’t have an account, how do I create one?

    Click on ‘Log In’ button at the top right of the home page of our website.  Then click on the the orange bar which says: "Log In (to an existing account) or Sign up (for a new account) here".

    You can then select ‘Log In’ which is only for existing accounts or select ‘Sign Up’ which is for a new account.

    To find out how to create your new user account, download the Technical User Guide - How do I use 'MyAccount'? and see page 3.

  • I already have an account. How do I log in?

    If you are a returning User to 'MyAccount, click on the ‘Log In’ bar above, then enter your user name and password and click ‘Log In’.  Once you are successfully logged in, your 'MyAccount' home page will be displayed.

    If you are a registered charity or have submitted a registration application, you will be required to change your password to login to 'MyAccount' for the first time. Please follow the 'Forgot Password' link on the 'Log In' bar above to reset your password. Make sure you use your existing Login Username as a verification email will be sent to this address. Once you are successfully logged in, please click on your User Profile button on the top right of the home page screen to update your profile details. You will need to update your profile before any forms can be submitted.

  • How do I reset my password?

    Click here to reset your password. Enter your username and submit.  You will then receive an email with a link, click on the link to enter a new password and submit.

  • How do I update my own user details in 'MyAccount'?

    You must be logged into 'MyAccount' to update your own user details.

    Once logged in, click on ‘Administration’ in the menu on the left of the home page to open your account.

    Click on ‘Edit’ to make the required amendments and, once finished, click on ‘Save.’

    You can access a number of help guides:
